GENERAL CORE BELIEFS

  1. We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God. (II Corinthians 3:16)

  2. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God who was born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life.

  3. We believe that He was crucified on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried, but was raised from the dead on the third day.

  4. We believe that He has ascended to the right hand of the Father, and there is no salvation through any other except through the Lord Jesus Christ.  And now we await the blessed hope of the literal second coming of Christ as Lord and King over all the earth.

  5. We believe in the Godhead: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

  6. We believe that it is God who calls us unto salvation.

  7. We believe in the sovereignty of God.

  8. We believe that Christ and only Christ is the solution to man’s spiritual problems.

  9. We believe that the miracle working gifts of the Holy Spirit are still available to us today. (I Corinthians 12:4-10)

  10. We believe in the pentecostal experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking out with other tongues.  (Acts 2:1-4)

GRACE BELIEFS

 

 

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we believe…

  1. Jesus came to exchange His life for us on the cross. He came to give us life, and life more abundantly. 
    (Galatians 2:20-21, John 10:10)

  2. We are no longer under the law, but under grace. (Romans 6:14)

  3. We are not to live the christian life, It is Christ who lives the christian life through us. We are vessels created for His purpose. (Galatians 2:20-21, II Corinthians 4:7)

  4. We don’t have to work for our blessings. We are already blessed in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3)

  5. We are a new creation in Christ. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (II Corinthians 5:17, II Corinthians 5:21)

  6. We are 100% forgiven for all Our Sins – past, present and future. (Colossians 2:13)

  7. There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

  8. God’s Love for us is unfailing, unconditional, everlasting, unbreakable, unshakeable, and never ending! (Romans 8:38-39, I John 4:17-19)

  9. We are no longer under the bondage/control of sin, but we have been set free through Christ. (Romans 6:6-7)

  10. God in the form of the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in us and He will never leave us nor forsake. This is the Immanuel Blessing. (John 15:1-17)

  11. Evangelism happens. As we go into the world, It is the life of christ flowing through us that will bring the lost to Him. (Mark 16:15, II Corinthians 4:5-7)
